PLAN YOUR STAYSABI SAND · SOUTH AFRICA
OUR LOCATION
In northeastern South Africa, the Lowveld opens into a landscape of woodland, riverbeds and wide skies. Here, within Mpumalanga's Sabi Sand Nature Reserve, Sabi Private Villas offers an exclusive-use base in a renowned wildlife region.
A wilderness destination, far from the urban rhythm. The reserve is part of the broader Greater Kruger ecosystem, where the landscape extends beyond the boundaries on a map.
THE RESERVE
Sabi Sand lies alongside Kruger National Park, within a connected, open ecosystem. Wildlife moves through this wider landscape, following water, food and the changing seasons.
The guest experience is distinctly private. Access is controlled and safari activities are guided, allowing time to observe, listen and understand the bush in the company of a knowledgeable team.
Private reserve environment
Guided safari activities, lodges and private safari properties. Controlled access supports a more private, personalised experience; there is no general public self-drive network in the same way as Kruger.
Public national park
A large public conservation area with self-drive routes, public gates and rest camps. Its much larger public-access safari network offers a different way to explore the wilderness.
Separate in administration, connected in ecology. Both belong to the broader Greater Kruger conservation landscape, while offering very different guest experiences.
